More than three decades have passed since this mysterious Spanish wine was born. The label: black. The bottle: Burgundy. The variety: Cabernet Sauvignon. Few had faith in this project. Certainly, no one dared to dream in 1979 that this wine would triumph in a blind tasting in Paris against some of the greatest wines in the world. It marks the beginning of a new era in winemaking: the beginning of a new journey in the world of wine, year after year and vintage after vintage.

Tasting characteristics:
Color: Bright ruby color.
Fragrance: The intense aromas show all the classic characteristics of Mas La Plana's native land, notes of truffle, toasted bread and wild red berry jam.
Taste: Wonderful body and density with juicy tannins, balanced and elegant.
Aging: Entirely hand-harvested, the wine ferments at a controlled temperature and ages in oak barrels for 24 months.
Serving temperature: 14°-16° Food pairing: Great with Spaghetti Bolognese, roast
lamb, young veal and simply cooked red meats.
Storage potential: up to 10-15 years.
