  • Domaine Hubert Brochure

    Origin: France

World-famous, Sancerre is far from monotonous. The diversity of our vineyards is testament to this: there is not one Sancerre, but many Sancerre wines. This belief has guided every action since the foundation of the Domaine Hubert Brochard estate in 1900 in Chavignon.

1900. In the historic heart of the vineyards of Sancerre, where the three slopes of Chavignon meet, Aimé and Hubert Brochard ran a farm where they raised goats, cultivated the fields and, of course, tended their vineyards, entirely by hand.

The story continued with Henri, son of Aimé and Hubert, and his wife Therese, who together decided to expand their winemaking activities. After them, their three children took on the expansion of the family estate: Daniel, Jean-François and Benoit. Together with his wife Christiane and their two daughters, Caroline and Anne-Sophie, Daniel introduced our wines to a global audience.

From generation to generation, Domaine Hubert Brochard has been guided by an unwavering dedication, proudly rooted in the land.

Another wine-growing family joined this collective adventure in 2022 when the Bollinger Group acquired the property. The wine-growing heritage of Domaine Hubert Brochard lives on today. Our vineyards continue to thrive. With 89 hectares of Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir in seven of Sancerre’s most revered villages, we consistently create wines that reflect our greatest asset – our plots.

Outside of its own vineyard, Champagne AYALA collaborates with almost 100 wine-growing families on 120 hectares, united by a shared commitment to quality, respect for life and the preservation of the terroir.

With its transition to organic production and the Atelier Vignoble initiative, Champagne AYALA confirms its role as a committed house, guided by a future-oriented vision, which places responsibility, heritage and distinction at the center of its actions for the generations to come.

  • Marchesi Antinori

    Origin: Italy

The Antinori family are one of the largest wine producers in Italy and one of the most famous in the world. Their innovations played a major role in the Super-Tuscan revolution of the 1970s. The Antinori family has been involved in winemaking for more than six centuries. Since 1385, Giovanni di Piero Antinori became a member of the “Arte Fiorentina”, a guild of winemakers in Florence.

During this long period, twenty-six generations, the family has always managed its business directly with bold and sometimes innovative solutions, but always maintaining an unwavering, fundamental respect for tradition and the territory in which they work.

In 1900, Piero Antinori bought several vineyards in the Chianti Classico region, including 47 hectares in Tignanello. His son, Niccolò, scandalized Tuscany in 1924 by making a Chianti containing Bordeaux varieties. He continued to experiment in the following years with new blends, barrel types, temperature control, and bottle aging.

Niccolò retired in 1966 and was replaced by his son Piero, who proved to be even more innovative. He explored early harvesting of white varieties, different types of barriques, stainless steel barrels and malolactic fermentation of red wines.

The real revolution came in 1971 with the introduction of Tignanello, a barrel-aged wine from the eponymous vineyard planted with Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, which made it inapplicable to the requirements of Chianti Classico. Even worse, from 1975 the blend also contained white varieties. It was Tignanello that really shook up the Italian wine industry and led to important changes in the rules and behavior of regulators.

Although the Chianti Classico DOCG rules have now been adapted to wines like Tignanello, Antinori continues to market it as a Toscana IGT wine. Encouraged by the success of Tignanello, in 1978 Antinori launched Solaya, an 80% Cabernet Sauvignon from a vineyard adjacent to Tignanello.

Today the company is managed by Marquis Piero Antinori with the support of his three daughters Albiera, Allegra and Alessia, all of whom are directly involved in the work. Tradition, passion and intuition are the guiding principles that have helped Marquis Piero become a leader in Italian wine.

Every harvest, every single field, every idea is a new beginning, a new search for higher quality. As Marquis Piero Antinori likes to say: „ancient roots play an important role in our work, but they have never been a limitation for our innovative spirit.”

The estates in Tuscany and Umbria, the family's historical heritage, have been complemented over time by investments in other territories, both in Italy and around the world, places with the potential for producing high-quality wine, places where it would be possible to start working towards greater prestige and wider awareness of the family's ability to produce exceptional wines.

The Marchese Antinori are members of the Primum Familiae Vini.

  • Miguel Torres Spain

    Origin: Spain

The Torres family is Spain's leading wine dynasty and the most recognizable Spanish brand worldwide. Torres is the family winery with the most vineyards in the Penedès appellation and the largest winery in Spain. They also operate their Chilean winery Miguel Torres Chile in the Central Valley and Marimar Estate in California, USA, founded in 1986 by Marimar Torres.

In Spain, outside Torres' native Penedès region, they own vineyards in Conca de Barbera, Jumia, Toro, Ribera del Duero, Priorat and Rioja - the latter three regions with new wineries or those under construction. Similarly, Torres is also Spain's largest producer of DO wines under its own brand, exporting to more than 140 countries worldwide.

Miguel Torres Spain made a significant contribution to the development of two aspects of oenology in Spain: first, the use of fermentation at controlled temperatures and second, the aging of wine in small oak barrels for a strictly defined period of time, a common practice in Bordeaux.

Torres Winery was founded by Jaime Torres and his brother in 1870 in Vilafranca del Penedès. During the Spanish Civil War, the winery was bombed, leaving everything in ruins. Miguel Torres Carbo, a fourth generation member of the family, rebuilt the winery in 1940 and resumed the business.

He stopped selling wine by the bottle and began to promote his own brand. In the year the winery was rebuilt, when France was under Hitler's control and unable to supply wine, Miguel Torres traveled to the United States to promote his wines. During this period, the Sangre de Toro, Viña Sol and Coronas brands were born. In 1966, planting of important varieties began: initially Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon, and later Merlot, Pinot Noir, Riesling and Gewürztraminer.

In 1979, Don Miguel Torres Carbo arrived in Chile and purchased a small winery in Curico, establishing Torres as the first company to place its trust in this now famous wine-growing paradise.

Over the years, Torres' vineyards have grown to 400 hectares in the Central Valley. Today, more than two decades after their arrival, Torres produces some of the best and most award-winning wines in Chile. In 1975, Marimar Torres, daughter of Don Miguel Torres Carbo, arrived in the United States. In 1986, planting began on the Don Miguel vineyard, and later on, Doña Margarita. Dedicated to her ancestors and located in Sonoma Valley.

Miguel Torres is a founding member of Primum Familiae Vini.

  • Bolenger

    Origin: France

Boulanger is a sparkling wine producer from the Champagne region of France. They produce several labels of champagne under the Boulanger name, including vintage Vey Vin Française, Grandes Anées and R.D. as well as a Special Cuvée, which is no vintage. Founded in 1829 in Aix by Annequin de Viermont, Paul Renoudin and Jacques Boulanger, the winery is still run by members of the Boulanger family.

Boulanger has roots in Champagne since 1585, when the Ennequin family, one of the founding families of Boulanger, owned land in Craman. Before the Boulanger winery was founded, the Viermont family were winemakers, although not under their family name. In 1750, the Viermonts settled at 16 rue Jules Lobet, which would eventually become the headquarters of Boulanger.

In 1803, Jacques Joseph Boulenger was born in Ellwangen, Kingdom of Württemberg. In 1822, he moved to Champagne and began working in the now defunct Müller Ruinard winery. Many other German citizens settled in Champagne at this time, including Johann-Josef Krug and Heidzieks, who founded the winery that would later become Charles Heidzieks, Piper Heidzieks, Heidzieks & Co. Monopol, Veuve Clicquot, and others.

The Renaudin Boulanger winery was founded on February 6, 1829 in Ai by Annequin de Viermont, Paul Renaudin and Jacques Boulanger. The partners agreed that the name Viermont would not be used on the labels, hence the name Renaudin Boulanger. Since the marriage of Jacques Boulanger and Charlotte de Viermont, the winery has been managed by members of the Boulanger family. Although Paul Renaudin left no heir to his name, the label did not remain solely Boulanger until the late 1960s.

Jacques Joseph Boulanger and Charlotte de Villermont had a daughter, Marie, who in turn had two sons, Joseph and Georges. They took over the company in 1885 and began to expand the family estates, buying vineyards in neighboring villages. They also developed the brand's image, becoming the official supplier to the English royal court, receiving a royal warrant in 1884 from Queen Victoria.

In 1918, Jacques Boulanger, Georges' son, took over the company. Jacques married Emilie Le de Lauriston Bourbard, better known as "Lily". Jacques further expanded the estate, building new cellars, purchasing the Touxier vineyard and adding the assets to another house on Boulevard Marechal de Lathir de Tassini - where Boulanger's offices are currently located.

When Jacques Boulanger died in 1941, Lilly took control of the company. She expanded production by purchasing more vineyards and traveled the world to promote the brand. Lilly is well-known in the region to this day, leaving behind several notable quotes.

„"I drink it when I'm happy and when I'm sad. Sometimes I drink it when I'm alone. When I'm with company, it's a must. I drink it when I'm hungry and when I'm not. In all other cases, I don't touch it - unless I'm thirsty."“

Lili managed Boulanger until 1971, when her nephews succeeded her. Under their leadership, Boulanger was modernized, more vineyards were purchased, and the brand was developed internationally. After them, their cousin, Christian Bissot, took over the winery. In addition to expanding Boulanger's international distribution, Bissot also developed a Charter of Ethics and Quality in 1992.

Boulanger has been managed by Ghislain de Montgolfier since 1994. The great-grandson of the founder, Montgolfier has also been president of the Association Viticole Champenoise since 2004, after heading the Commission of Champagne for 10 years. He has also used the popular James Bond film series as a marketing device.

  • Château de Beaucastel

    Origin: France

Château de Beaucastel, a remarkable domaine, produces the universally acknowledged best wines of Châteauneuf-de-Pape. They are well known as one of the few estates to grow and vinify all thirteen varieties permitted by the appellation's laws. Beaucastel's special Vieux Vin Cuvée is a varietal white wine from the Roussanne grape, which is rare in the Rhône and even rarer in Châteauneuf-de-Pape.

The winery takes its name from the Beaucastel family, who lived in Courtesan in the mid-16th century. Archives attest to the purchase of a manor house and adjoining land in Coudole in 1549 by Pierre de Beaucastel. This land is still part of the Château de Beaucastel estate. However, at that time it was an agricultural property. In 1792, the owner was Étienne Contard and the first certain mention of vines on these lands is from his inheritance some 40 years later.

In the 19th century, when the phylloxera epidemic hit the region, the owner of the estate was Elie Ducius, who decided not to replant the vines, but instead to sell the property. In 1903, a young chemical engineer and mathematics professor, Pierre Perrin, together with his father-in-law, began to restore the domaine from the devastation caused by phylloxera. His son, Jacques Perrin, took control of the estate in 1953 and introduced many innovations such as improved grape varieties, integrated pest control and flash heat exchange. Today, the third and fourth generation Perrins, François and Jean-Pierre, and Jean-Pierre's sons, Marc and Thomas, continue the traditions of their fathers and grandfathers.

The vineyards of Château de Beaucastel are treated like a garden: no chemical fertilizers or sprays are allowed. Organic fertilizers come from compost and only a minimum of the traditional sulfur-copper spray is used in the vineyards. They are planted with all the traditional varieties of Châteauneuf-de-Pape: Grenache, Mourvèdre, Syrah, Cinsault, Vacarese, Cunhaise, Terre Noir, Muscardin, Claret, Picpoul, Picardan, Bourbollenc and Roussanne.

  • Chateau Miraval

    Origin: France

Chateau Miraval, the summer residence of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, is a place dedicated to art and wine.
In 1970, the famous jazz pianist and composer Jacques Lussier purchased Château Miraval and turned it into a recording studio – Studio Miraval. Many famous musicians, such as Pink Floyd, Sting, Shade, The Cranberries and Gypsy Kings have recorded their hits here. After renting the castle for three years in a row for their holidays, in 2008 the couple purchased the property. In 2011, they began to invest and renovate extensively, but at that time the vineyards were managed separately from the castle and were under the control of the former owner of the chateau, the American Tom Bove. Finally, we have the official announcement that Brad and Angelina are taking control of the vineyards and a new winemaker will be responsible for them – (Pitt-Jolie&Perrin).

This year, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are focusing their attention on the vineyards, transforming this unique place into a mecca for art, music, cinema, theater, local cuisine, and great Provençal wines.

Nestled in a small valley in the historic village of Corens, the first organic village in France, Château Miraval spreads over 500 hectares in the heart of this magical part of Provence. This magnificent château is not only located at the foot of the Via Aurelia, the old Roman road designed to facilitate the expansion of Rome in the 3rd century BC, but its exceptional location in the valley provides the Miraval terroir with a unique ecosystem that gives the wines exceptional style, elegance and freshness. Since 2012, Château Miraval has been working with the Perrin family to promote viticulture, winemaking and the distribution of its wines. One of the great French winemaking families, the Perrin family are the leading figures of the unique vineyards of the Rhône Valley. Their talent, passion for wine and organic methods of growing vineyards produce high-quality wines such as the iconic Châteauneuf-du-Pape, whose reputation throughout the world is impeccable.

This choice is not accidental, Angelina and Brad are connoisseurs and wine lovers who especially like wines from the Rhone Valley. They entrusted their trust to the Perrin family, who are now actively involved in the cultivation of the vineyards and marketing of the wine. Brad Pitt is strongly involved in the wines, and Laurence Berlemont, winemaker and technical director at Miraval for 17 years, is still here.

Starting with the 2012 vintage, wines from this partnership will be distributed under the Miraval name, bottled by Jolie-Pitt&Perrin.

Château Miraval follows in the footsteps of the famous vineyards of Provence, which produce rosés reaching gastronomic heights. Sacha Lichin's Château Desclans was the first to produce a very high-quality rosé, which is also one of the most expensive in the world. Now we present the special Miraval Cuvée Rosé, which is even more refined and elegant in bottle and purity of packaging, but the complexity of the wine is what makes it an exceptional, delivering indescribable pleasure product.

  • Livio Felluga

    Origin: Italy

It is impossible not to mention the historical events that have influenced the family when talking about the history of the estate. The winery is located in a region of constantly changing borders, vanished empires and wars.

Livio Felluga survived two world wars, living first in Austria-Hungary and then in the young Kingdom of Italy, on the coast of the Istrian peninsula, before finally settling in Friuli. By the time he settled there, the provincial population was emigrating, leaving behind poorer soils and abandoned traditions and values.

While others were turning to industrialization, Livio Felluga decided to revive the hills. He was convinced that high-quality viticulture could breathe new life into the Friuli countryside. With great courage, he began to restore old vineyards and plant new ones, introducing innovative ideas and techniques along the way.

Today, Livio Feluga's unwavering beliefs have proven successful. Currently, Livio Feluga has 330 acres of vineyards located on the slopes of the hills of Collio and Colli Orientali del Friuli. Of particular pride are the vineyards located on the slopes of Rosazo, an area that has been the pinnacle of Friuli viticulture since the time of the Augustinian monks in the 11th century. Rosazo continues to prove itself to this day as one of the great wine regions in the world.

Livio Feluga's label depicts an ancient map of the Friuli hills and the small villages scattered among them. For 50 years, this map has breathed life into the hills, inspiring wine lovers around the world to discover a new world. When Livio Feluga first put a label on his wines, it was hard to imagine a world in which this label would be an instantly recognizable sign of quality, even in the most remote corners of the globe.

Today, the new generation of Feluga leads the family business. Just like the founder Livio, who started the business, and like his grandfather and great-grandfather, who produced wine in Istria, the youngest generation continues to be fully focused on producing the highest quality wines.

  • Chateau Sainte Roseline

    Origin: France

It all starts around a generous water source. Everyone knows how important water is in Provence. It attracted a hermit named Roubou in the mid-tenth century, who decided to retreat here.

Gradually, the small chapel became an abbey called Sel-Roubout. Roseline, daughter of the Marquis de Villeneuve, Lord of Les Arcs, was Mother Abbess of the abbey from 1300 to 1329. With her great piety and generosity, she left a lasting impression on the local people, who eventually gave the place its name. In the 19th century, she was declared a saint and today her body rests in a glass reliquary in the parish church.

In the 14th century, under the leadership of the Bishop of Fréjus, who later became Pope John XXII in Avignon, the site became one of the first vineyards in Provence. It has maintained its leading role ever since, with Henri de Rasc de Laval, the previous owner, being the first president of the Syndicate of Winegrowers in the Var.

In 1994, Bernard Theu took the future of this beautiful estate - Château Sainte Roselin - into his own hands, with the intention of transforming it, on the one hand, into one of the jewels of southern viticulture and, on the other, into an artistic destination.

The abbey was completely renovated under the direction of architect Jean-Michel Wilmot, who managed to preserve its nobility. Bernard Theu asked him to change the design of the interior of the château without altering its historical features.

In 2007, Aurelie Bertin Theu (daughter of Bernard Theu) took control of Château Sainte Roselin, investing as much as possible in the pursuit of quality and the search for a distinctive and at the same time authentic personality for each of the wines.

Immersed in culture (spiritual and material), this exceptional place inspires meditation and reflection and is an invitation to taste the incredibly fine wines of Château Sainte Roselin from the Côte de Provence - whites, reds and rosés.

  • Langlois Chateau

    Origin: France

On August 1, 1912, the young couple Edouard Langlois and Jeanne Château founded the Maison Langlois Château in Saint-Hilaire-Saint-Florent, with the help of Baron de Bodman, owner of the Château de Saint-Florent and the adjacent vineyards; the Baron provided the cellars, land and buildings to the young company, which also acquired the business of Maison Delande.

Langlois Château immediately specialized in the production of sparkling wines. The business began to develop well, but was interrupted by the First World War, during which Edouard Langlois was killed. His young widow took over the management of the business with the help of her son-in-law Maurice Leroux and her son Alexis.

In 1973, Boulanger, recognizing the quality of Langlois-Château's wines, acquired a controlling stake. Michel Viedeil, son-in-law of the Boulanger family and originally from Saumur, became president of the company, assisted by Jean Leroux, son of Maurice.

Subsequently, Langlois Château began to grow rapidly, increasing the capacity of its cellars, creating vineyards in Saumur, Saumur-Champigny and Sancerre, and increasing its commercial investments.

In 2007, Langlois Château was able to enlarge its historic plot in Saint-Hilaire-Saint-Florent and concentrate all its production: presses, warehouses, cellars, distribution, as well as administration and reception, all right next to the vineyards.

In parallel with the production of sparkling wines under the appellation “Crémant de Loire”, the production of still wines from its own vineyards also began.
Langlois-Château is currently managed by François-Régis de Fougeroux.
