Specializing in fine Bordeaux wines since 1937, Établissements Jean-Pierre Moueix now owns and distributes a number of notable wineries in the region. For 80 years, we have been committed to sourcing the finest fruit grown by local growers to produce balanced, elegant wines that reflect the distinctive terroirs of this renowned region. Handpicked by Christian and Edouard Moueix, JEAN – PIERREMOUEIX BORDEAUX is comprised of Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Grown on clay, gravel and sandy soils on the right bank of Bordeaux, the Merlot grape offers depth and complexity, while the Cabernet Franc brings structure and spice to the blend. Combined, these varieties produce wines with character and body, while maintaining a unique flexibility. Crafted to express the nuances of the fruit and terroir of this legendary estate, the wine is then blended and aged in the historic Quai du Priourat cellars in Libourne, benefiting from all the care and experience of Jean-Pierre Moueix's technical teams.
