Saint-Emilion de Quintus 0.75 2020
Region: Saint-Émilion, Bordeaux
Varieties: Merlot § Cabernet Franc
Description
Tasting characteristics:
Receiving the same care given to Château Quintus and Le Dragon de Quintus, Saint-Emilion de Quintus was launched in 2014. The plots located in the lowlands of the Dordogne plains mainly contribute to the production of this wine.
Color: A beautiful and dark garnet red color distinguishes this wine.
Fragrance: The initial impression of the nose is intense, with notes of freshness of newly recruited red fruits. The oak shades are discreet and well integrated.
Taste: The start of the palate is mok and pleasant. The wine then develops into a rather gentle body. The tannin appears on the finish, covered and medium-long. This Saint-Emilion de Quintus leaves an impression of balance and immediate pleasure.
Aging: Entirely hand-harvested, the wine ferments at a controlled temperature and ages in French barrels for 18 months.
Serving temperature: 14°-16° Food pairing: Great with Spaghetti Bolognese, roast
lamb, young veal and simply cooked red meats.
Storage potential: up to 15-20 years.
