Description
Color: Bright ruby color.
Fragrance: A tempting nose of red fruits with pleasant cherry notes.
Taste: On the palate, the wine is well structured, rich and captivating, with a pleasant fruity finish.
Aging: This wine is produced mainly from Aglianico, with the addition of Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah from Boca di Lupo Estate. Aglianico is an ancient variety that highlights the main characteristics of Doc Castel del Monte, such as: intensity, elegance and smoothness. The wine is aged for 10 months in barriques and for another 9 months in bottle. Entirely hand-harvested, the wine ferments at a controlled temperature and ages in oak barrels for 12 months.
Serving temperature: 14°-16°
Food pairing: Great with Spaghetti Bolognese, roast lamb, young veal and simply cooked red meats.
Storage potential: up to 15-20 years.
