As reported by Decanter.com in February 2020, the co-owners of Miraval have joined the Péters family in Champagne to start a new project. The Péters family, based in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, is world-renowned for its Champagne, and particularly the blanc de blancs style, which it has been making from its own grapes since 1919.
“Fleur de Miraval is the culmination of five years of work, research and tasting, carried out in the utmost secrecy,” said Rodolphe Peters, who today manages his family’s 20 hectares (50 acres), of which about 16 hectares (40 acres) are in Grand Cru vineyards.
