2020 is their first Blanc de Blancs sparkling white wine, and the launch of this new cuvée Extra-Brut marks a turning point in Langlois' history, embodying their commitment to the environmental work carried out by the House over the years.
Description
This Blanc de Blancs blend was created to celebrate the splendor of the house's signature grape variety, Chenin Blanc, which makes up 58% of the blend. Chenin Blanc brings freshness and sophistication to the wine, while Chardonnay (42%) provides vivacity.
Color: golden
Fragrance: Nose of ripe pear, peach, mango and melon. Seductive aromatic purity.
Taste: A bouquet of fruity aromas – green apple, citrus, peach and notes of toasted bread.
Aging: 24 months on the lees in the bottle in the cellar.
Serving temperature: 6°-8°
Food pairing: A perfect combination with fish, seafood, hors d'oeuvres and appetizers.
