Château Haut-Brion Rouge 0.75 2007
Region: Pessac-Leonian
Varieties: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon § Cabernet Franc
Description
Color: Bright ruby color.
Fragrance: Elegant and complex, the red Château Haut-Brion presents mineral aromas and a unique complexity. Its strength lies in the finish, which is surprisingly long. This aromatic persistence is due to its extremely noble origin.
Taste: Haut-Brion is usually a wine characterized by a certain restraint, obliging the taster to move forward to meet it. Château Haut-Brion 2007 shows a change. The color is very deep red-violet. As for the nose, at the beginning red fruits dominate the obvious signature of our unique “terroir”. This wine approaches with infinite charm. The palate is soft and pleasant thanks to the extraction of tannins adapted to this vintage. The evident freshness carries these tannins to impressive effect on the palette.
Aging: Entirely hand-harvested, the wine ferments at a controlled temperature and ages in new barrels for 24 months.
Serving temperature: 14°-16° Food pairing: Great with Spaghetti Bolognese, roast
lamb, young veal and simply cooked red meats.
Storage potential: up to 30-50 years.
